Welcome to the official site of the Ashland Area Wood Carvers. We strive to provide a forum where people interested in wood carving may meet together to increase their wood carving skills through instruction and teaching, participate in club activities, study wood carving as an art form, and receive mutual assistance and encouragement on their wood carving.

Our group is comprised of people from all walks of life and age groups. The clubs skill levels range from novice through professional. We meet weekly on Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the United Steelworkers Hall in Ashland, KY. Feel free to stop by if you think you may be interested in carving or would just like to visit. We always have an extra knife and piece of wood. Anyone can join. We all began as un-skilled carvers and learned by doing. You can too !
